| Project Summary:
Thunder Mountain Enterprises, Inc. was
contracted to install 5000sf of Turf Reinforcement Matt (TRM)
to control slope erosion on a 0.5:1 slope. Caltrans major
objective was to stop the sediment flow from the erosion to
a Drain Inlet 25 yards from the toe of the slope. In 17 days
Thunder Mountain Enterprises, Inc. prepared, hydroseeded and
installed the Turf Reinforcement Mat to the slope with complete
satisfaction of CalTrans project manager.
